Aanchal Dairy Union Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour, Hails Padma Bhushan Honour

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit at Nainital Aanchal Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited. The National Flag was hoisted at the administrative premises by Union Chairman Mr. Mukesh Bora, followed by the National Anthem.
On the occasion, Mr. Bora expressed immense pride over the announcement of the Padma Bhushan award to former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, calling it a moment of honour not only for the state but for the entire nation. He said the convergence of Republic Day and this prestigious civilian honour has added to the democratic and national pride of Uttarakhand.

Highlighting the significance of Republic Day, the Chairman said it symbolises the victory of democracy, the strength of the Constitution and collective national spirit. He described Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s public life as an inspiring example of simplicity, discipline and dedication to democratic values. Republic Day celebrations were also held across 692 milk committees and five chilling centres associated with the union.
Mr. Bora announced a positive decision on workers’ welfare, including a wage incentive increase of ₹1,500 effective from January 1. General Manager Mr. Anurag Sharma and Administrative & Marketing In-charge Mr. Sanjay Singh Bhakuni also addressed the gathering. Senior officials, board members and employees were present at the programme.
